The trip to Manchester, including entry to David Hockney’s exhibition at Factory International is open to all level 7 Graphic Design students.
The amount of £20.53 is due to be paid no later than 10:00 am Monday 25th November 2024.

Detailed Description
A local trip to Manchester has been planned for MA Graphic Design students on 13th December 2024 and you are invited to attend! Manchester is known as a vibrant and creative city that has significantly contributed to arts, culture, and innovation over the years. Historically recognized as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, it transformed into a cultural hub that celebrates creativity in various forms. The population brings in a variety of cultural influences, enriching its creative landscape. This diversity is reflected in festivals, food, and community projects, enriching the overall cultural experience.
The trip is planned for the whole day travelling via train. We will be leaving at approx. 10am from Leeds rail station and our return journey from Manchester Victoria will be at approx. 4pm. We will be visiting The People's History Museum, Science and Industry museum, and Factory International for the immersive David Hockney exhibition "Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away)". This is also a great opportunity unwind a little with a change of scenery in the run-up to the Christmas break!
The cost of your ticket for this trip covers entry to the David Hockney exhibit and your rail fare. Departure and arrival times are only approximate until all tickets are booked. The final itinerary and travel details will be provided in due course. Remember you will need some money for meals and refreshments etc.
Please be aware the price may change due to factors such as student numbers and changes in costs between announcing and booking the trip. Due to this we may need to request a further small balancing payment is made. We will contact you about this if it is needed. Please be aware that if you cancel the trip you may suffer the loss of up to the full cost of the trip, and be liable for any balancing payment due if this has not already been paid.
