The trip to the ANiMA Festival is open to all levels on Animation, there are 30 places available on a first come first served basis. Dates of the trip are 19/02/2027 to 25/02/2027.

PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of £135 is due by midnight on 29th September 2026.
A final balance of approximately £427 will be due around December, the final payment date will be confirmed in the next few weeks but will likely be before the Christmas break.
The total cost will be approximately: £562
This is subject to any changes in student numbers, exchange rates etc.
Please note price is based on sharing a room.
Please be aware that if you cancel the trip at any stage, or do not provide valid passport information in time, you may still be liable for up to the full cost of the trip.

- Return travel by rail - Leeds to Brussels (LNER/Eurostar)
- Meininger Hotel Rue Bara 101, 1070 Brussels, Belgium – Direct- including breakfast (subject to availability at time of booking)
- Anima Student Festival pass.

This is a fantastic opportunity to see work from around the world, listen to masterclasses on how animation is/was made and listen to advice from speakers talking about the trends and debates surrounding animation. There will be opportunities to talk to animators and professionals involved in the animation industry. The full itinerary hasn’t been announced yet, and depending on the itinerary and what you want to attend, there are museums, galleries and plenty of shops to go to in the surrounding areas, these include:

Important Information:
PASSPORT
You will need to ensure that your passport is in date and has a minimum validity after the date of travel. The minimum validity for this trip can be checked on the FCO website here. At the moment this advises your passport must be:
- Issued less than 10 years before the date you enter the country (check the ‘date of issue’)
- Valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’)
If you cannot provide valid passport information now you will need to provide this information no later than 1st November 2026.
Please be aware it is your responsibility to ensure this is in place by that deadline. If you cannot provide this information by then you run the risk of not being able to participate on the trip and potentially suffering the loss of up to the full cost of the trip.
VISA
If you require a visa to travel to Germany, please ensure that it is valid before purchasing a ticket.
EHIC & GHIC
You need a valid EHIC or GHIC card at the time of travel.
