THE SUMMER BALL IS BACK!

Get ready to bust some moves and dress to impress at this year's Summer Ball on Wednesday the 7th of May at The Faversham (@the_faversham). It's the biggest party event of the year!

Tickets are priced at £7 and include a free drink and ice cream token on arrival. Expect amazing tunes from our DJ and saxophone player and don’t forget to get your photo taken at our free photobooth!

We have 400 tickets on offer this year split across 3 ticket releases:
-Monday 14th April at 4pm
-Wednesday 16th April at 10am
-Tuesday 22nd April at 12pm

Please note you will only be able to buy 2 tickets per person. If you wish to bring a non-LAU student please make sure you purchase a ticket on their behalf and that they arrive with you to enter the venue.

There is no official dress code for the night but students may choose to dress formally if they wish. Please wear whatever you feel the most comfortable in!

The Faversham is a fully accessible venue. There is level access to the venue through the Conservatory side entrance and our accessible toilet is located in The Main Room. If you have any special requests or require reserved parking, please contact the SU or the Faversham Team at: events@thefaversham.com

Detailed Description

Schedule for the night:

The event will open at 7pm and last entry for the ball will be at 9pm. Please bring your ID (driving license or passport) for the bouncer to check on entry and be aware they will also be doing bag searches.

 

The drinks reception will be available until 8:30pm, so make sure to use your drinks token on entry at the drinks reception table.

 

The DJ and Saxophone player will be starting at 8pm in the main events room, so make sure to have your dancing shoes on and be ready to boogie!

 

As the photobooth was so popular last year, we have brought it back for you all to enjoy again! Last photos will be available to be taken in the photobooth 11:30pm. Please ensure you are being mindful about queue levels when you are using the photobooth and don't allow others to cut the queue by joining your group ahead of those who are already waiting. Make sure you leave enough time to queue up and get your photo!

 

We also have an event photographer to ensure that someone is always available to take group photos of you and your friends.

The ice cream van is being supplied by Martins Whippy and will be parked up near the terrace offering a range of toppings and vegan alternatives! The ice cream van will close at 11pm so make sure to leave plenty of time to grab your sweet treat.
