Detailed Description
In semester 2 we are arranging a coach trip to Manchester open to all years to attend. There is a small contribution needed from students to secure a place on the coach. There is limited availability and it is offered on a first come first serve basis, for now. If this trip offer proves to be popular then we will look at providing more spaces.
In Manchester we will arrive at The People's History Museum. We have arranged a visit to the museum for level 4 students only but if you would like to attend this visit too then please let the course leader know. For the rest of the time you are free to explore Manchester and arrange your own cultural itinerary.
For level 5 and level 6 students: now that you have attended studio visits arranged by the course team, we would like to encourage you to arrange your own studio visits during your time in Manchester. There are many great creative agencies, publishers, printers, and other relevant companies that operate from Manchester and Salford and can be easily accessed via public transport. If you would like any suggestions of studios or agencies to contact, please speak to one of your tutors. Please make arrangements as soon as you can to ensure their availability in accommodating you. We recommend arranging these visits in small groups so as not to inundate studios with requests.
